Facing Diversity: Intercultural Classroom Management Day#02

Was a little late. Felt a bit better;)

Today’s topic was inclusion. We were discussing what diversity meant to us. And all the other guys have problems I only read in newspaper stories. The Greeks teach kids who come from a zillion countries and they speak neither Greek nor English. Still, they gotta get by somehow. The Irish are in a better spot, but again, about 30% of the students there are non-Irish. In Laura’s school 80% of the kids come from different cultural backgrounds and Dulce’s school also deals with a lot of influx. I felt really bad today as a Pole and so proud of all the other guys who have to face the problem and, from I have been hearing, are doing a great job doing it. Kudos to ya’ll.
